Charity Guild of Catholic Women awarded $547,599 in grants to 48 well-deserving agencies and schools on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at the Charity Guild Shop.  Those honored truly fulfill the Guild’s mission of “rendering assistance to children in need in the Greater Houston Area, regardless of race or creed.”  The recipients serve children in the areas of health and social services; education and Catholic education; hunger, special needs and art and enrichment.

Since 1966, the Charity Guild of Catholic Women has donated more than $6.4 million to over 160 non-profit organizations with proceeds from their volunteer run Charity Guild Shop, 1203 Lovett Blvd., in the Montrose Area neighborhood.
