Students at Corpus Christi Catholic School have many opportunities to
participate in activities that contribute to their experience of a well-rounded
Catholic education. These activities engage students as they develop spiritually,
academically, physically and socially.
At the weekly school Masses, students are active participants, and
have the opportunity to serve as ministers in the roles of altar servers,
lectors, ushers, greeters and music ministers.
Those who qualify in the areas of academics, character, service, leadership
and citizenship are inducted in the National Junior Honor Society. Others
are eligible for nomination to the Duke University Talent Identification
Program.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a number of sports.
One unique sporting opportunity is the annual Pacers and Trotters seasons.
These intramural basketball seasons allow first through fifth graders
to play on teams, and allow varsity players to act as coaches and referees.
These month-long annual seasons are a joy to players and fans alike!
Other student activities include: community service projects, class
retreats, field trips and school dances.
