Corpus Christi Catholic School offers non-contact rugby in the spring. It is co-ed and is open to boys and girls in grades five through eight. Rugby teaches the basic fundamentals of passing and kicking.

Rugby is similar to American football; it has its roots in soccer. The object of rugby is to carry the ball across the opponent's goal line. Rugby is a continuous flowing game where every player has the ability to run with the ball.

The sport is two hand touch. Students will develop new skills and develop aerobic fitness.
