Parent School Organization (PSO) is the parent organization for Corpus Christi. All CCCS parents, guardians, teachers and staff are members of PSO. The organization thrives on member participation and active involvement. All parents are invited to attend the monthly meetings.
PSO is a dynamic organization linking parents and teachers as Partners in Catholic Education. The primary purpose of PSO is to support the mission of the school. We also work to enhance the spirit of faith community among the students, parents, teachers, administrators and parishioners, assist in coordinating volunteer support to the school, and provide an effective means of disseminating information concerning issues affecting the school.
PSO also seeks to share knowledge on the problems and solutions for raising children, provide a forum for parents to share information and experiences about growth and development of children in similar age groups.
Before the start of school, PSO organizes the Back to School Orientation and Used Uniform Sale, and a school Pool Party. In the fall and spring, PSO hosts programs designed to bring our school families together for fun, fellowship and education. Previous events include Family Trivia Night, Family Bingo Night, Decorating Art Tile, Science Night, International Night and more. The group provides refreshments for Grandparents Day and the student Christmas program and solicits donations for the Faculty/Staff Christmas Fund that provides holiday bonuses for the faculty.
Board members are volunteers who serve in various capacities. Some board positions have yet to be filled. If you are interested in serving on the PSO, please contact the school office at 713-664-3351.
