Corpus Christi Catholic School (CCCS) offers a rich and challenging
curriculum to students beginning in Pre-Kindergarten and continuing
through Grade 8. Our school is fully accredited through The Texas
Catholic Conference Education Department (TCCED). CCCS utilizes
the curriculum of the Archdiocese
of Galveston-Houston, which is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge
and Skills (TEKS).
Our recent graduates are attending the following high schools:
St. Agnes Academy
Incarnate Word
Academy
Strake Jesuit
College Preparatory
St. Pius X High School
St. Thomas High School
Debakey
High School for Health Professions
Students in the Elementary grades are taught the following subjects
daily: religion, language arts (including reading, writing, grammar
and spelling), mathematics, science, and social studies. Spanish, computer,
library, art, music, and PE are offered weekly. Students also attend
Mass weekly.
CCCS offers an Enrichment Center, staffed by a certified Montessori
teacher, who works closely with classroom teachers. The Center is available
to address the special needs of students with identified learning differences,
to motivate students that are presently working on grade level, and
to offer additional challenge for students who are academically advanced.
Students work one-on-one with the teacher or in small groups. There
is an additional charge for Enrichment Center sessions, which is determined
by the number of sessions a child attends each week.
